Ah, textiles! Grannie Hare taught me to embroider when I was about 8. I taught myself to knit from a magazine in the 1970’s, and from there my passion for making things with fiber escalated. Except for that detour through architecture school… Between 1987-1995, I learned to spin, felt, weave, and paint silk. I spent those years making custom clothing and accessories, for commissions and group shows. In 2018 I resurrected my knitting needles and rediscovered a long lost love!
